CAS Ageing in Today's Society

In this part-time professional development certificate programme, you will acquire critical and reflective skills that you can apply conceptually in intergenerational educational work against the backdrop of an ageing society.

Particular emphasis is placed on fostering respectful attitudes towards older people, as well as working and learning adults. This includes, for example, examining the structures and functions of the social and healthcare sectors, which play a decisive role in shaping the framework for the opportunities (and assessment) associated with ageing and lifelong learning, particularly in the post-working life phase.
