E-Learning Courses

At our university, we see e-learning as a tool to complement our hybrid and face-to-face continuing education programmes. You can undertake your continuing education wherever and whenever you like, at your own pace and tailored to your personal and institutional priorities.

KuLO – Art and Cultural Institutions as Learning Organisations

Initiating transformation processes in cultural institutions

Does your organisation wish to engage a diverse audience and break down barriers to accessing your services? Are you looking for strategies to help you make your organisation agile, resource-efficient or digitally-enabled? Would you like methodological guidance and support with the content for these initiatives?

The e-learning programme KuLO – Art and Cultural Institutions as Learning Organisations supports you in setting up appropriate transformation processes to address the pressing challenges currently facing your institutions. It is free of charge for you to use.

Who can use the platform?

The KuLO e-learning programme is aimed at staff from cultural institutions across all disciplines and areas of responsibility. You can gain quick and easy access to the online platform with its wide range of content and materials, which you can use free of charge at your own pace and according to your own interests, whenever and wherever you like.

You can access the e-learning programme via the KuLO website. Introductory content on the key topics is available there. More in-depth learning modules and downloadable materials will be added at regular intervals throughout 2023.

What can you, as a user, expect?

You can look forward to a varied programme of practical, hands-on learning modules in the five selected areas

  • Agility
  • Audience Development
  • Accessibility
  • Digitalisation
  • Sustainability

By choosing a specific focus area and engaging continuously with your own organisation, you can tailor your learning process to your individual needs and derive significant practical benefits. Various opportunities for discussion foster networking and encourage sustained reflection on the transformation process. Ideally, you should begin the programme with a challenge or question of your own, from which you will develop a specific project for your own institution as you progress through the continuing professional development learning pathways.
