Range and modular system

You can currently complete a DAS at our university; further programmes are in the pipeline.

The certificate programme “Qualification as a Teacher of German as a Second and Foreign Language (DaZ/DaF)” offers in-depth training in teaching German as a second and foreign language, whether in integration courses or abroad. The further education programme comprises the two CAS courses ‘German as a Second and Foreign Language (DaZ/DaF) – Fundamentals’ and ‘German as a Second and Foreign Language (DaZ/DaF) – Advanced’. You can also book both CAS programmes separately and combine them into a DAS at a later date.

Accredited further training

This DAS is recognised by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) as equivalent to the ‘Supplementary Qualification for Teachers of German as a Second Language in Adult Education (ZQ DaZ)’ awarded by the Federal Office.

Under certain conditions, the BAMF may reimburse a proportion of the costs incurred for participating in the further training course. Further information can be found on the BAMF website.
