Facilities

from A to Z

The university has a whole range of facilities dedicated to academic and research-supporting activities. The Karlsruhe School of Education plays a special role in this regard.

  • Teaching Workshop

The Didactic Workshop brings key concepts in contemporary teacher training to life, based on constructivist learning theories. The aim is to encourage students and aspiring teachers to engage in active and self-directed learning in schools and at university. They receive support in taking on the professional role of a teacher and in applying what they have learnt in their studies to classroom teaching. At the same time, it serves as a meeting place for communication and a workspace for students.
