University Library
The University Library of the Karlsruhe University of Education is an academic library specialising in education (pedagogy) and psychology. We also offer a wide selection of resources for the various degree programmes.
In total, over 200,000 printed books, journals and other media (DVDs, audio CDs, CD-ROMs, games) are freely accessible and systematically arranged by subject area. In addition, approximately 40,000 e-books and over 20,000 licensed e-journals, as well as numerous databases, are available.
As a central institution, we primarily provide our university community with resources to support their studies, teaching and research, but individuals with academic or professional interests are also welcome to make use of our services.

What we offer
As a central library, we primarily provide members of the Karlsruhe University of Education with literature to support their studies, teaching and research. However, anyone with an academic or professional interest is also welcome to make use of our services.
We offer:
- Research training sessions and library tours
- Assistance with using digital resources
- Individual and group study spaces
- Group study rooms and study cubicles
- Photocopiers and book scanners
- Wi-Fi access
- Ordering literature via interlibrary loan
- Individual consultation sessions on literature research
- Introductions to the reference management programmes Citavi and Zotero
- Support with publishing academic papers
