University Certificate in Learning and Working in Intergenerational Exchange

Microcredential

In our increasingly diverse and dynamic world, intergenerational exchange is becoming ever more important. Mixed-age learning and working environments are therefore regarded as valuable meeting places, as they facilitate a valuable transfer of knowledge, experience and skills between young and old. These intergenerational gatherings are the key to a sustainable and inclusive future. They can promote both socio-cultural memory and the economy.

Our training course, ‘Learning and Working through Intergenerational Exchange’, equips you to

  • support individuals and/or groups in age-appropriate learning and working processes,
  • evaluate existing intergenerational settings from an academic perspective, and
  • initiate new initiatives in the field of so-called multigenerational engagement.

You can apply to the Quartiersakademie Baden-Württemberg for financial support to take part in this event. The Quartiersakademie is funded by state funds approved by the Baden-Württemberg State Parliament. The application must be submitted in advance. Further information is available on the Quartiersakademie website.
